Beatrice Weber
The Jewish Center and Federation was pleased to host Beatrice Weber, a former Hasidic Rabbi's wife who left her community after 22 years of marriage and 10 children. Weber is a motivational speaker, author and Interspiritual Minister who advocates for orthodox women and all those stuck in abusive marriages.
Weber spoke in the large sanctuary at CKA on May 4 at 2 p.m. A light nosh was served following the presentation.
Zoom access was available, but registration was required to view the presentation.
During her talk, Weber shared her powerful journey from the Hasidic community to independence, raising ten children, and winning a lawsuit against her son's yeshiva and New York State for not providing an education. Through personal stories and lessons in courage, she inspired audiences to overcome adversity, stand up for justice, and to live authentically, no matter the challenges they face.
