The series of workshops on Human Trafficking concludes with its third session on Sunday, March 10, at 2:00 p.m.
The third session will present members of law enforcement who will speak about situations they face. They will also address the details of what actions they take and any needs they may have. After the officers, we will have Kathy Dubel discuss public policy and advocacy and how it is relevant to the problems.
The main purpose of the workshop has been to make members of the community aware of the increasing problems of human trafficking. The next step will be to access ways the victims can be helped and we expect to encourage assistance to the programs available.
