While Berlin's music may not be as flashy as Bernstein or Gershwin, it is every bit as brilliant. Because of its subtlety, it is much more singable than many other great composers. For Ken's lecture on Berlin, he actually brings a piano and asks participants to sing along with him. It is one of Ken's favorite lectures, and we hope it will be one of your favorite lectures, too!
Ken will present his lecture in the Snowiss Auditorium, at CKA, 1008 West Water Street, in Elmira. The lecture, sponsored by the JCF, is free to attend and open to the public. There will be light refreshments served. Please contact the JCF office for more information at office@jewishelmira.org, or 607-734-8122.
